ePlanner Privacy Policy

ePlanner Pty Ltd ACN 121 198 632 ("ePlanner", "we", "us" and "our") recognises the importance of privacy. This Privacy Policy tells you what information we collect and how we aim to manage this personal information. This Privacy Policy should be read subject to any overriding provisions of law or contract.

Definitions

The following definitions apply throughout this Privacy Policy:

Product/Service means a product or service referred to on the Website.

User and you means a person accessing or otherwise making use of the Website for any reason whatsoever.

User Account is a record created and stored by ePlanner which details information collected about a particular person.

Website means the whole or any part of the website pages located at www.eplanner.com or any sub-domain of www.eplanner.com (including the layout of the website, graphic design elements of the website pages, underlying code elements and any text, graphics, sounds, animated elements or other content of the website).

Collection of Personal Information

Creation of Accounts

ePlanner may create a User Account when:

  • a User requests one and completes the sign up requirements on the Website;

  • a User makes a booking for a Product/Service or enquiry about a Product/Service using the Website;

  • a person is invited to the Website by ePlanner's automated email system, to accept or deny an invitation generated by another user to be their 'buddy' or to attend an event.

When a User Account is created by ePlanner, ePlanner will collect and store the account holder's email address.

To activate a User Account created by ePlanner or to request a User Account the sign up requirements must be completed. To complete the sign up requirements, Users must provide their name. The name and email address provided by Users will be used to address the User and to help other ePlanner Users find and identify them.

Other information may be supplied by Users at their discretion. If provided by a User, the following information will automatically be made visible to other Users of the Website:

  • User's suburb;

  • User's State; and

  • User's country of residence.

A User may elect to keep any other information (other than that listed above) provided during the sign up process private, meaning that the information will not be displayed on the Website and will be otherwise dealt with in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Third Party Contact Information

You may provide ePlanner with contact details for third parties and may use this information to communicate with the third party through ePlanner (e.g. send an invite). ePlanner will not use this information to contact the third party other than directed by you, the third party, or if the third party creates an account with ePlanner.

Other Collection

Personal information may also be collected by ePlanner when Users:

  • submit information to make a booking or enquiry relating to Products/Services; or

  • submit User Content.

Private information may also be included within communications between users and ePlanner by private means (email, phone, personal).

We may collect your personal information directly from you, or from third parties including from other Users, our related entities, contractors, partners, affiliates or agents.

If you do not provide certain personal information we may not be able to provide certain products or services.

Storage of Personal Information

The security of your information is a priority for us so it is our policy to take physical and electronic security measures to safeguard your personal information. Although we strive to protect such information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information

It is ePlanner's policy to not retain card details for any longer than is necessary to complete the relevant transactions. We aim to process any online payment transactions securely through ePlanner's servers. For Users who wish to be automatically billed on a periodic basis for any Products/Services they book, it is ePlanner's policy for the User's nominated credit card details to be passed to and stored by a secure payment gateway and deleted from ePlanner's records.

Use of Personal Information

We collect your personal information so that we can use it for our functions and activities, which include, amongst other things:

  • identifying you as the holder of a User Account;

  • keeping you up to date with newsletters and other useful information from ePlanner;

  • processing your payments for Products/Services or assisting a third party process your payments for Products/Services;

  • providing you with services as requested by you;

  • administrative processes;

  • providing search facilities for other Users to find and identify your User Account on the Website;

  • allowing you to share your information with other people;

  • planning, researching, developing, improving and promoting products or services offered, or that may be offered, by us, our related entities or our affiliates;

  • addressing any feedback or complaints you may have;

  • answering any questions you may have; and

  • any purposes for which it was requested and directly related purposes.

You consent to your personal information being used in the manner specified above unless you tell us to the contrary in writing.

  • to the entity for which a white label solution, through which you signup, was created.

This Privacy Statement applies solely to information collected by ePlanner and the privacy policies of third parties may differ from this Privacy Policy.

Other Information gathered from the Website

We may, from time to time, use technology devices, for example "cookies", to store your preferences, record session information and collect information on how you visit and access the Website. We collect information on the Website pages visited by our customers in order to help us to continue improving our services.

"Cookies" are pieces of information that the Website transfers to your computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify you, only your computer.

We may collect other non-personal information (for example, the identity of your internet browser, your IP address, browser type) to optimise our products and services including the Website.

We work hard to provide our users with the best possible service at all times. By creating a User Account or by providing us with your personal information, you give permission for ePlanner to send you our newsletters with updates and other useful information from time to time.
